(Detail as shown in PTTCH and PTTAR's news on October 6-7 and 10, 2011) Presently, PTTCH and PTTAR have fulfilled the requirement on amalgamation processes including the registration of the amalgamation by the Registrar. Thus, PTTCH and PTTAR lost their status as juristic persons and PTTGC is entitled to all the assets, liabilities, rights, duties and responsibilities of both PTTCH and PTTAR. By virtue of Section 171 (4) and 171 (1) of the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 (1992), the Board of Governors of the SET has approved the delisting of PTTCH and PTTAR and the listing of PTTGC on the day which the Registrar accepts the registration of the amalgamation, October 19, 2011 (effective in the trading system on October 20, 2011) and to be traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) using the trading name of "PTTGC" commencing from October 21, 2011 onwards. For the trading of PTTGC, the SET sets the details as follows: 1. Common shares of PTTGC in the amount of 4,505,984,638 shares at par value 10 Baht each totaling 45,059,846,380 Baht to be commenced trading on October 21, 2011 onwards. 2. Common shares of PTTGC to be listed under Industrials industry group in Petrochemicals & Chemicals sector and using trading name of "PTTGC". 3. According to Clause 24(5) of the regulations on the Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Trading, Clearing and Settlement of Securities in the Exchange (No.2) 1999, the SET will temporarily lift the daily price limit of PTTGC's securities on 21 October 2011 to allow the market mechanism to work properly.
