The Company would like to notify the investment progress that, on May 31, 2012, the Company has completely acquired 51% of the shares in Perstorp Holding France SAS in the amount of Euro 114.8 million or approximately Baht 4,830 million from the former shareholder. In addition, the Company renamed the purchased entity from Perstorp Holding France SAS to VENCOREX Holding. VENCOREX Holding is a producer and technology-owner of Isocyanate. Moreover, it is also a major player in the Europe market, particularly in Toluene diisocyanate (TDI), Hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and Derivatives which are the major feedstocks in the manufacturing of polyurethane (PU). PU has the characteristics for foams and coatings production used in the automotive and construction industry. In this regard, the investment would be a strategic move into the High Volume Specialty which is a downstream business that will enhances higher value and opportunity for future growth.
