Dr. Pasu Loharjun, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry presents the Thailand Quality Class Plus: Operation Award to Mr. Pornsak Mongkoltrirat, Senior Vice President, EO-based Performance Business Unit, PTT Global Chemical PLC

Today is the success for EO-based Performance Business Unit of PTT Global Chemical Public Co., Ltd., or GC. It is was selected as the only company to receive a Thailand Quality Class Plus: Operation Award due to a sweeping management vision with the drive and passion of employees for constant organizational development through its R&D that has been used in its excellence production and operating processes. By receiving this award, not only it will help driving the EO-based Performance Business Unit into having a more efficient and stable operating system that will be in line with the changing industrial trend, but also help enhancing its global competitiveness for -the long-term sustainability.

The 2018 Thailand Quality Award emphasizes on a sweeping management vision that will enhance companies’ competitiveness into international standard. The evaluation includes leadership, strategy, customers, analysis and knowledge management, personnel, operation, and results. In 2018, the EO-based Performance Business Unit has received the award for two consecutive years when it received the 2016 Thailand Quality Class Award in 2017.

In 2018, there are 13 quality Thai companies operating in manufacturing and service sectors that received awards in three categories:

• 2018 Thailand Quality Class (TQC) Award – 11 companies
• TQC Plus: Customer Award – one company
• TQC Plus: Operation Award – one company
