The Plogging event combines running and collecting trash, which benefits both health and the environment. It starts with a normal run, during which participants pick up some trash along the way, such as plastic bottles, paper, or other litter. This not only enhances the effectiveness of the exercise but also raises awareness about the problem of litter and promotes good environmental and health practices within the community.

The 7^th Plogging x Run with Doctor event was organized by PTT Global Chemical PCL (GC) in collaboration with the community. Mr. Sombat Silsangwon, Senior Vice President - Aromatic Business, joined forces with Mr. Wichean Sakcharoen, the head of the Maab-Kha and Ai Ngon Community, along with 158 residents of the area. Additionally, Mr. Tawin Phothibuathong, Mayor of Map Ta Phut, Mr. Suphat Sawat-Chooto, Director of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (Rayong Industrial Estate), overseeing the RIL Industrial Estate, and Ms. Pakamats Viriyaphan, Head of Maab-Kha Public Health Service Center, also participated in the event.

The Plogging activity not only promotes good health, but also has positive impacts on the environment and the community. In this year, the running and trash collection covered a round trip distance of 2 kilometers. Additionally, there was a bottle exchange activity, enabling the collection of PET plastic bottles totaling 119 kilograms (6,170 bottles). This action reduced approximately 345.68 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent. Furthermore, other types of litter weighing 115.5 kilograms were also collected. The collected PET plastic bottles will be delivered to the Khao Phai Waste Management and Recycling Center for further recycling processes by Envicco in the future.
