PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) deployed expert personnel along with full firefighting equipment to address a fire incident at Map Ta Phut Tank Terminal Co., Ltd. This response included firefighting teams from the refinery and from NPC Safety and Environmental Services Co., Ltd. (NPC), a subsidiary of GC Group with extensive expertise and experience in emergency response.

The firefighting team was equipped with advanced tools and resources, including fire trucks, ladder trucks, foam extinguishing agents, water pumps, and drones with thermal imaging cameras. NPC’s emergency response and rescue team collaborated with government agencies and industrial estate authorities to plan and adjust strategies in real-time, ensuring the successful completion of the mission.

On May 9, 2024, during the fire incident at Map Ta Phut Tank Terminal in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province, GC Group deployed 60 expert emergency responders. The resources included four fire trucks, one ladder truck, over 12,000 liters of fire extinguishing foam, a 2000 GPM Trailer Fire Pump, and drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras. The thermal imaging drones allowed for the assessment of hotspots and dangerous areas, providing vital information for the incident command team to make informed decisions and effectively manage the situation.

Thanks to these comprehensive measures and expert coordination, the fire was successfully extinguished.
