On June 27, 2024, Lieutenant General Chamnarn Changsat, Director General of the Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Station (TV5 HD), assigned Lieutenant General Siripong Phachonkanokkul, Deputy Director General of Administrative Affairs, to represent the organization. Additionally, Ms. Tawinun Khongkran, Deputy Director General of Communications and Corporate Image, joined forces with PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), a leading chemical business. Dr. Chayan Jantawasu, Deputy Managing Director of Corporate Sustainability, represented GC in this collaboration with TV5 HD. Their joint initiative aims to promote proper waste separation, raise awareness of global warming, and set a societal goal of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 under the project "Sanam Pao We Clean, Together We Can." This internal organizational project aims to instill waste separation awareness among TV5 HD personnel and ensure proper waste management. This initiative is part of the ongoing “We are GEN S” or “Generation Sustainability” campaign, which promotes Net Zero Lifestyles to address the climate crisis and further tangible sustainability collaborations.

The "Sanam Pao We Clean, Together We Can" project aims to expand internal waste management by engaging employees in a plastic waste separation competition. Personnel from each department in the station will collect plastic waste throughout the activity period, from July to December 2024, for six months. The waste will then be weighed, and the department with the highest weight will be declared the winner. This initiative not only promotes creativity within the organization but also cultivates and strengthens discipline, leading to effective and sustained changes in waste separation behaviors.

The used plastics, diligently separated by the personnel of TV5 HD, will be processed through the GC YOU TURN platform, an integrated plastic management system. This platform encompasses the management of used plastics from beginning to end, aiming to create value and benefits. This initiative aligns with the environmental goals of both organizations to build a sustainable world together.
