Dr. Chaya Chandavasu, Senior Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Branding, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), delivered 20 plastic row boats to Mr. Veerachai Nakmat, Governor of Ayutthaya province, to assist residents impacted by floods in many areas of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. The row boats are made from GC's LLDPE compound using a rotational molding process, which ensures durability, flexibility and impact resistance helping to mitigate any scratches and breakage. They are also UV resistant allowing for extended use outdoors. The row boat is 3-meters in length, 90 centimeters wide and weighs 35 kilograms (according to specified boat design standards) and can seat 2-3 people (200 kilograms). It is also 100% recyclable in the event of any damage or prolonged wear and tear.
