Mr. Paisarn Sarapee, Senior Vice President, Phenol Business Unit, GC, joined a press conference on the widely-acclaimed Thailand Quality Award (TQA) 2019, given in recognition of excellence in comprehensive management and outstanding corporate performance that meets international levels, at the Office of Industrial Economics, Ministry of Industry on February 5, 2020.

Dr. Phanit Laosirirat, Executive Director of the Thailand Productivity Institute, and a member and secretary of the award committee, discussed their roles and key operations while Piyabutr Cholvijarn, chairman of the award committee, unveiled the outcome and strategy of the Thailand Quality Award which has become an effective tool in improving Thai organizations so they are ready and resilient to changes in the future.

Furthermore, the list of award-wining organizations was subsequently announced for which Dr. Chulapong Taweesri, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry talked about the Thailand Quality Award as a mechanism to promote a national strategy to improve the productivity and capabilities of Thai organizations in a sustainable way. The Thailand Quality Award 2019 recognizes 13 award-wining organizations. This year, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha presented the awards at the ceremony which took place on February 20, 2020 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna.

On this occasion, Mr. Paisarn was invited to the stage to express his gratitude for the Thailand Quality Class Plus: Operation Award 2019. He noted that, “Advancing business operations requires flexibility together with comprehensive organizational communications that builds engagement among executives and employees. This then enables timely flexibility to changes, serves customer requirements and creates value for both customers and stakeholders. Most importantly, top-level individuals in the workplace can serve as role models in building a culture of cooperation that helps drive the organization towards achieving its vision and mission.”
