GC expresses concern for the disabled in the Khlong Toei community, donates survival bags together with pineapples from Rayong farmers

With the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, GC has been highlighting the need to provide the necessary care across the country, particularly for the vulnerable. This includes the disabled and residents of the Khlong Toei community, currently a high-risk area with a higher proportion of infections.

On May 21, 2021, Dr. Chaya Chandavasu, Senior Vice President, Sustainability and Corporate Branding, presented 1,000 sets of survival bags donated by GC’s employees together with 4,000 kilograms of pineapples from farmers in Rayong to the Khlong Toei District Office under the “Giving survival bags to the Khlong Toei community” project. Mr. Somsak Tang-eimsakul, Assistant Director of Khlong Toei District and Acting Lt. Thanit Sittikraipong, Head of the Registration Department of the Khlong Toei District Office, was the recipient at the Khlong Toei District Office, Bangkok.
