In recognition of its efforts in this area, PTT Global Chemical PLC, or GC, was recently selected as one of 13 leading companies in Thailand to receive a Top Employer Thailand award from the Top Employers Institute, the world’s foremost human resources organization.

Mrs. Chanchai Kehasukcharoen, Vice President, HR Strategy and Policy at GC, accepted the Top Employer Thailand award on the company’s behalf during a ceremony at the Fullerton Bay Hotel in Singapore. The Top Employer award is given to organizations that have human resource practices at a level equivalent to the world’s leading companies. The evaluation includes a survey with 10 components: Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Career & Succession Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Culture. GC’s score has consistently exceeded these evaluation criteria from the first year the company was assessed.

Since beginning in 1991, the Top Employer award has been granted to more than 1,500 companies throughout the world including those in the petrochemical industry such as the Dow Chemical Company, SABIC, Evonik Industries AG, and BP PLC.
