Khun Warawan Tippawanich, Senior Vice President, PTT Global Chemical PCL, participated in the press conference featuring the 49^th International Chemistry Olympiad, hosted by the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), in collaboration with the Promotion of Academic Olympiads and the Development of Science Education Foundation (POSN) under the patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana, Chemical Society of Thailand under the patronage of Prof.Dr. HRH Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, and Mahidol University as co-hosts of the 49^th International Chemistry Olympiad 2017 during July 6-15, 2017.

This year, Thailand has received an honor to become the host of the competition, to honor HRH Princess Chulabhorn Walailak as the “Scientist Princess”.

Contestants who are going to participate in the competition this year are comprised of 2 students from Mahidol Wittayanusorn School and 4 students from Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School and Triam Udom Suksa School. The press conference was held on June 22, 2017 at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhonpathom.
