Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha presided in the ceremony to grant excellence industry awards and outstanding industry awards for the year 2014 on November 26th, 2014 at Santi Maitree Building, Government House. The awards were symbols of supreme prestige and pride of PTTGC's determination to develop its business to be internationally recognized, reflecting its constant diligence and tireless efforts to create quality work that is environmentally friendly and beneficial to the development of Thai economy. The awards were also given to encourage and set examples to other manufacturing entrepreneurs. This year, PTT Global Chemical PLC. and companies under the group received 5 awards as follows:

• Outstanding Industry Awards-Quality Management was given to PTTGC Branch#11 (Olefin Plant 3, LDPE, LLDPE), with Mr. Supatanapong Punmeechaow, President and Chief Executive Officer representing in the receiving of the award
• Outstanding Industry Awards-Safety Management was given to PTTGC Branch #2 (Olefin Plant 1), with Mr. Suvit Tinnachote, EVP-Group Performance Center Olefins representing in the receiving of the award
• Outstanding Industry Awards-Energy Management were given to PTTGC Branch#5: Aromatic Plant#2 and PTTGC Branch#12: Polyethylene Plant, with Mr, Narong Bunditkamol, EVP-Group Performance Center Aromatics and Mr. Pairote Utaisup, SVP-Polymers Business Unit, representing in the receiving of the award respectively
• Outstanding Industry Awards-Productivity Enhancement was given to TOC Glycol Co.,Ltd. with Mr. Pana Naksuk, Chief Executive Officer, representing in the receiving of the award
