Mr. Pongsak Raktapongpaisarn, Minister for the Ministry of Energy chaired the signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Strategic Alliance between PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited and Sinochem Group. Sinochem Group are one of the four leading national oil companies in China, and a leader of trading and services in the chemical industry. Mr. Pan Zhengyi , Vice President of Sinochem Group, joined by Mr. Prasert Bunsumpun, Chairman of PTT Global Chemical, Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, President & CEO of PTT, and Senior Executives from PTT Global Chemical on July 29, 2013, at Synergy Hall , Floor 6, Energy Complex Center, Building C.

The signing of the MOU with Sinochem Group is an important cooperative step in the formation of the business strategic alliance. This is in line with a shared business vision and direction to promote business strength at both companies, providing expansion opportunities, marketing cooperation, more efficient business operations, as well as increasing investment potential in specialty chemicals and other petrochemical projects. The Cooperation will increase the opportunity for joint business operations under the two companies' value chains in China and overseas.
