Mr. Bowon Vongsinudom, President of PTT Global Chemical PLC. (PTTGC) attended an international seminar, Biobased World Asia 2012 and received an honor to be the keynote speaker providing speech on business expansion and extension of green chemical business development under "PTT Global Chemical's Green Expansion Plans & Future Developments". In addition, Dr. Pipat Weerathavorn, Vice President - Growth Project Management, Growth Sustainability & Innovation Department of PTTGC was also invited to be a speaker on "Sugar & Sugarcane production System in Thailand and Asia".

This year, PTTGC supported Biobased World Asia 2012, which consists of the 2nd Biobased Chem Asia and the 6th Bioplastics Markets. The company set up an academic booth at the event to provide knowledge toward 120 participants and to build the business networking among local and international green chemical business operators. The event held on 22-24 May 2012 at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel.
