Mr. Suvit Tinnachote, Executive Vice President, Group Performance Center - Olefins and Mr. Pornthep Butniphant Executive Vice President, Group Performance Center - Refinery and Shared Facilities jointly signed the MOU on The Waste Utilization and Development Project in the fiscal year 2012 with Mr. Prapat Vanapitaksa, Director-General of Department of Industrial Works on 7 June, 2012 at Century Park Hotel, Bangkok. The project aimed to urge all PTTGC groups employees to realize the importance as well as to provide knowledge with good practices, and cooperation on waste management according to the 3Rs.

In addition, PTTGC plants including Branch 2: Olefins Plant I-1, Branch 3: Olefins Plant I-4, Branch 4: Aromatics Plant 1, Branch 5: Aromatics Plant 2, and Branch 6: Refinery, have passed both evaluation on waste management, according to the 3Rs principles, and zero waste to landfill.
