Mr. Bowon Vongsinudom, President of PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) received an honor to provide a special lecture on the topic of "Safety Management under Economic Crisis" held by the Occupational Health and Safety at Work Association (OHSWA), including exchanging view, knowledge, and experiences of occupational health, safety, and environment to 120 participants from Ministry of Labour, private sectors, and universities. Mr. Bowon Vongsinudom also shared information on business operation and management under the crisis, including safety culture, care taking, and caring for everyone's safety (B-CAREs). The event was held on 29 June 2012 at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel Bangkok.

After a special lecture, Mr. Bowon Vongsinudom gave an interview on PTTGC's safety policy which was prepared as the video for the opening of the 26th Safety Week between 5-7 July 2012 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna. This year, PTTGC received The National Occupational Safety and Health Award 2012 from the four locations including branch 2 (Olefins I-1 Plant), branch 3 (Olefins I-4 Plant), branch 4 (Aromatics 1 Plant) and branch 5 (Aromatics 2 Plant). This year PTTGC's Olefins I-4 Plant has remarkably received the award for 14 consecutive years.
