General Prayuth Chanocha, Prime Minister, was the guest of honor in the award presentation ceremony, granting the Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2017, hosted by the Ministry of Industry, with Khun Supattanapong Punmeechaow, President & Chief Executive Officer, PTT Global Chemical PCL, receiving the award for PTTGC Branch 2 Olefins I-1 Plant. It is considered the award of honor and the most outstanding award for the industrial entrepreneur, reflecting determination and business development towards the international standard. It also demonstrates the Company’s dedication and diligence in delivering quality and environment-friendly outcomes that are beneficial to the country’s industrial development, with the objective of giving encouragement and being the role model for other industrial entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, PTTGC’s subsidiaries also received 3 Outstanding Industry Awards as follows:

• TOC Glycol Company Limited, with Khun Pornsak Mongkoltreerat, Managing Director, receiving the Outstanding Industry Award in Safety Management and Khun Paranai Waitayasevee, Manager of Production Planning and Sale & Marketing – EO-Based Performance, receiving the Outstanding Industry Award in Logistics Management.
• Green Global Chemical PCL, with Khun Jirawat Nuritanon, Managing Director, receiving the Outstanding Industry Award in Quality Management.
