Its Chairman shall also be an Independent Director. These Directors serve a three-year term or until the termination of directorship, resignation, or dismissal. The Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee is responsible for determining policies, supervising and promot ing the implementat ion of sustainable development. The Risk Management Committee’s role is to establish policies related to the Company’s risk appetite and risk tolerance as well as risk management guidelines that serve as a framework within which the entire GC Group operates with especial importance placed upon early admonition. The Committee also oversees that risks are identified and ranked by impact and likelihood. In extension, the Committee establishes appropriate risk mitigation measures, monitors, and assesses the effectiveness of the Company’s risk management. Furthermore, the Committee offers its opinions and recommendations on possible risk issues of investment project or a legally binding agenda item that is complex in nature or contains potential impact to the Company’s reputation in a significant manner. It also ensures that the Company’s business operations comply with relevant laws and standards.
