No. PTTGC/044/2011 November 1, 2011 Subject: Clarification of Financial Statement 3Q/11 and Financial Statement for the period before the Amalgamation date To: President, Stock Exchange of Thailand As PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited ("the Company") had the registration of amalgamation between PTT Aromatics and Refining Public Company Limited ("PTTAR") and PTT Chemical Public Company Limited ("PTTCH") on October 19, 2011, therefore, PTTAR and PTTCH had lost their status as juristic persons and the Company shall assume all assets, liabilities, rights, duties, and obligations from both PTTAR and PTTCH. In accordance with the loss of status as juristic persons, both companies will no longer have to disclose the financial statements for quarter 3/2011 to the Stock Exchange of Thailand. However, to inform investors of the performance of both companies prior to the registration of amalgamation, the Company will disclose the financial statements of PTTAR and PTTCH for the period of January 1, 2011 to October 18, 2011 (the Day prior to the Amalgamation).
